Effective Selling

Effective selling is a bit like ironing a shirt ...

You have to iron out all the creases to look your best right?

So you get the front done, turn it over, iron the back and, when you think you’ve finished, there’s now a new crease at the front.

Quickly you iron it out and see there’s now another at the back, and so on and so on.

Now you could argue that there is a point when you get a perfectly ironed shirt, but you get the analogy.

In selling, there definitely isn’t a perfect sales person, you have to keep ironing out the creases in your performance so that, in #Sales terms, you can be your most effective, and differentiate yourself from the competition.

If you think of a shirt as the sum of your sales skills, there is always a need to refresh and iron out your own creases, but how often do we do this?

You also need to know where your own sales creases are so that you can work on those specific areas.

Have a think, when was the last time you invested in sales #Training, be that individually or for your teams?
